AthenaX is a digital health platform designed to provide integrated cancer care to underserved patients. By providing rich, real-world data to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to increase patient engagement and decrease costs for clinical trials, our cognitive behavioral therapy approach will enable us to care for the whole patient. AthenaX will not only provide virtual supportive cancer care but also create personalized recommendations and serve each patient as their own digital health advocate, particularly for disadvantaged patients with lower socio-economic status, geographical location or lack of equity across racial disparities in healthcare.

CEO: Victor Wang

Headquarters: Millbrae, CA

Care.coach’s  digital avatars coach complex, high risk patients (typically elderly) – 5% of the US population who account for 50% of all healthcare costs — to take better care of themselves and to reduce cost of care for our health insurer customers. Its human-in-the-loop design allows us to surpass the limitations of AI, while training machine learning models to automate and scale human touch in ways that other companies do not have the data for.

CEO and co-founder: Arup Roy-Burman

Headquarters: Oakland, CA

Elemeno’s point-of-care safety solution helps healthcare systems drive consistency of practice at the frontlines, improving patient outcomes at scale, while lowering costs. Content is actionable and trackable, anytime, anywhere. Staff can access Elemeno on any device, desktop, or mobile. The company can launch a custom Elemeno application within hours, so clients can standardize care across their system and share best practices from peer institutions coast-to-coast.
